An exhibition by Ahmad Sabbagh, Typism, and Akut from Blouzaat, Expired is the culmination of the artists’ cross cultural visual dialogue, exploring the innermost, basic human faults and vices, shared by all of humanity across the globe. This is the artists definition of the dying infant world of today.

Manual Animal Workshop Exhibition will respond to the Israeli massacres in Gaza.

A group of artists from diverse backgrounds decided to fuse together to leave a trace of themselves, get all covered in paint, get markers, pencils, cutters, spray cans all over the place and reproduce themselves into anything at all!

DESCRIPTION:
This art workshop is all about manually produced art, I will ask all of you to choose their own mediums and projects, be it graffiti, animation, posters… anything you want to do as long as no computers are involved!

The workshop will last at least four hours a day, but for those who are intent on giving me a stroke, the night is long and we’re all young.. who needs sleep anyway? those of you who manage to drive me insane, make me throw up or make me feel like giving up and going home, will earn my deepest respect.  I want us all to come through this workshop surprised and a little schitzo,  and hopefully in one piece.

Unfortunately, this workshop will not be for free. There will be a participation fee, to be announced shortly. 

MAIN GOALS
combining different techniques, even those that don´t match, sharing knowledge and skills, forming teams coming up with things you have never dreamt off or not!

POSSIBILITIES:
Composition 
Type design
Urban technics
Illustration

Bring whatever tools that suit your ideas… for instance:
stencil, sticker, marker, ink, knife, scissor, brushes, linoleum tools, spray cans, color (whatever you have in mind, anything that smears, marks, or drips), cameras, (which can be used for stop motion animation, for example)

RESULTS:
each one of you has to come up with an idea, which i will help develop and make presentable to an audience. We may also form small groups that  put all their efforts and skills together into one big THING, whatever that thing might be.

An exhibition will be held on the 28th of December displaying all the artwork and projects created during the workshop, with live performance by a german musician “lilabungalow”.

Poster for the exhibition: this must be done before christmas, which means extra work for whoever likes to work even closer with me, please decide after I have introduced myself.
